Ab Phab Youth Club
Ab Phab Youth Club started in 1997 by parents and carers of disabled children wanting a safe space for them to spend time with friends and have fun! Since then, we have grown and offer youth sessions three evenings a week, offsite trips and a residential week away.

The Barking & Dagenham Progress Project is a voluntary sector partnership initiated in July 1998. We are an organisation for young people with disabilities. DABD – Kid’s Patch Club
Kids Patch is our Ofsted registered weekend club for children and young people aged 5 + with disabilities or additional needs.
The club offers a friendly, fun, social and inclusive environment for three age groups (5 – 8, 9 – 13 and 14 – 18) with specialist equipment and facilities and trained staff.
Children and young people can enjoy crafts and themed activities promoting confidence, positive relationships and of course, fun!

Red box – Children & Young People Disability Hub
The Children & Young People Disability Hub also known as (CYPD Hub) is based at Becontree Community Hub, Stevens Road, Dagenham RM8 2QR.
We share the premises with both the community hub staff and the nursery who operate from the same building. The building has been adapted to meet the needs of children with disabilities and their families and is open to the community.

Barking & Dagenham Short Breaks 4 Me
Short Breaks 4 Me is provided by London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council.
It is aimed at families in the borough that have a child or young person with a disability or complex health need who are eligible for a Short Breaks Personal Grant.
Through the website you are able to apply for a grant, manage your grant funds online and buy short breaks activities and provision.
Short breaks are fun breaks that offer enjoyable leisure activities for your child giving them the chance to have fun, make friends and grow in independence. They can also give you, and your other children, a break from caring responsibilities and an opportunity to re-charge your batteries.
